KFAX14 - 'Logos Of The Venezuelan Minitcas'
KFAX returns with a 14th edition, collected by long time labelmate Phran aka Fran Mejia (the talented artist behind a few of Klasse Wrecks' early releases and one half of Dos Ritmos alongside Luca Lozano). For this issue, Fran has delved into the world of the Venezuelan Minitecas, a strain of mini/tiny soundsystems first found in Venezuela in the late 1960s and early 1970s. By the 1980s Minitecas were widespread in the country, with a multitude of soundsystems with names such as Betelgeuse, Sound Crazy, ZC, Coconut, The Boss and High Voltage. Minitecas would play a wide mix of genres such as Electro, New Wave, Miami Bass and Italo Disco and when played together would be represented by one simple word; 'Changa'.
Featuring 100s of logos across 70 pages, measuring at 10x14cm and printed on 70 g/m² EOS yellow bible print paper and with mauve glue binding. Includes a foreword by Phran.
