Our Vintage series shoes are handmade by shoemakers in the original factory (Wollaston, Northamptonshire, England). The original manufacturing techniques are used A 1461 shoe with 3 eyelets Quilon leather, a reissue of the original leather used for the classic Dr Martens models, durable, with a smooth finish Shod on our '59' last, we offer This shoe has our most classic fit. This model has a Goodyear sole edge. The upper and sole are stitched together. The oil and grease resistant Dr. Martens sole with air cushion offers good abrasion and slip resistance. The small visible dents left on the sole edge by the original stitching machine are authentic.
Quilon leather is made using traditional processes and features a contrast color for a two-tone finish.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Clean Away dirt using a damp cloth, allow to dry apply correctly colored wax based shoe polish to restore color and shine level as desired.

This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are welded and sewn together. Not just glued down, as happens with many shoe constructions.
